Greetings and welcome to the fourth issue of the newly revamped Inside Hokie Sports. The staff debuted this new-look magazine in August of last fall, and it now can be viewed online for free in this fun, interactive format. Readers should keep in mind that the new format includes the implementation of video and photo galleries, allows readers to bookmark articles, allows for the starting of a slideshow, and possesses a feature that enables readers to share easily through one’s social media outlets, along with more. Past issues can easily be viewed by clicking the links below and comments can be emailed using the form in the bottom right-hand corner. Please feel free to reach out with comments about the magazine or ideas for content.
The fourth issue of Inside Hokie Sports includes Q&As with football defensive coordinator Bud Foster and offensive coordinator Brad Cornelsen, as the Hokies gear up for spring football practice. It also includes recaps of the ACC championships won by both the Tech wrestling team and the men’s indoor track and field teams, and it features academic spotlights on a softball player who wants to get into sales because of her competitive spirit and a wrestler who has an interesting job lined up with a sports memorabilia company as well.
In addition, there are features women’s lacrosse coach John Sung, women’s tennis standout Francesca Fusinato, and men’s swimmer Brandon Fiala, a five-time ACC gold medalist who became the first Tech student-athlete to vote on legislation at an NCAA convention.
All that and more can be read in the March version of Inside Hokie Sports, so we hope you enjoy the issue!
