36 Inside Hokie Sports For those who don’t know, including former student-athletes, the Virginia Tech Monogram Club is an organization for past and present letterwinners at Virginia Tech. All letterwinners are invited to join fellow student-athletes in fellowship and celebration of the traditions of, and promote the value of, the Virginia Tech student-athlete experience. The membership organization seeks to honor and engage former and current letterwinners in varsity sports, past and present, and supporting staff through networking and fellowship events. The club also seeks to reconnect with all letterwinners in all past and present sports and support areas at Virginia Tech and have each of these letterwinners become a connected and engaged member of the Monogram Club. Virginia Techmonograms (letters) currently are awarded to student- athletes in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, HighTechs, HokieBirds, lacrosse, managers, soccer, softball, sports medicine, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field (indoor and outdoor), video, volleyball and wrestling.
