In other competition, Isaiah Rogers and Fitsum Seyoum competed in the shot put and the 3,000-meter steeplechase, respectively. Rogers’ top throw was 18.28 meters (59 feet, 11.75 inches), while Seyoum ran his event in a time of 9:10.96. Also, the men’s 4x100-meter relay team of Joseph Tay, Cole Beck, Derek Tay and Michael Davenport competed, running that event in a time of 40.70 seconds. In addition, distance runners Rachel Pocratsky and Sarah Edwards both earned second-team All-America recognition. She left with four individual school records, along with two school records as part of relay teams. Edwards, a junior, came in seventh in her heat with a time of 4:18.04. The Kethely, Hungary native placed 17th in the long jump with a top jump of 6.03 meters (19 feet, 9.5 inches) and just missed All-America honors by just two inches. She also competed in the triple jump, but fouled on all three of her attempts.
