22 Inside Hokie Sports • Peter Seufer won the ACC cross country individual title, beating a 128-runner field and becoming the third Tech runner to win an ACC individual crown (Will Mulherin, 2012; Tommy Curtin, 2015). • Seufer, a redshirt junior from Lynchburg, Virginia, came in second at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet and 16th at the NCAA Championships, earning All-America honors in the process. He became the seventh All-American in program history. • Seufer competed in six meets this past fall and finished in the top five in five of them, including two that he won and two others in which he came in second. • The Tech men’s team finished in sixth place at the ACC Championships, extending a streak in which the Hokies have finished in the top six to eight consecutive years. • Fitsum Seyoum, Jack Joyce and Bashir Mosavel-Lo all finished in the top 50 at the ACC Championships. Seyoum’s 34th-place finish was a career best for him at the ACC meet. • At the NCAA Southeast Regional meet, the Hokies came in eighth as a team, extending a streak in which they have finished in the top 10 to eight consecutive years.
