inside.hokiesports.com 9 And bang, it was March again. And the Hokies were primed to return to the NCAA Tournament. But it would all be in Indiana. What?! And I wasn’t sure if we could go with them. We hadn’t been allowed to travel with the team all season. Something about Tier 1. Didn’t know that term a year before either. And then, just as I allowed myself to start feeling excited about March, we got two more games postponed. Come on!!! All of this is a long way of saying. Wow, it has been a year. We have all faced challenges that were unthinkable a year ago. And many have lost someone they have loved. There will never be a good way to express our grief for that fact. But, we are still here. We are still Hokies and we press forward. I can wear this mask a little longer. And I can go to empty arenas a couple of more times. And I do that because I know, eventually, we will beat this damn thing and we will all be back together in Lane Stadium jumping. I believe that. I know that. And just wanted you to know it, too.
