Finally, a “Brooks Koepka autographed, U.S. Open Flag” was auctioned off, with proceeds going to the Monogram Club. CLUB EVENTS—2019-20 ATHLETICS YEAR The Club has planned numerous events for the coming year. These include those that are for the full membership and those that are driven by individual sports and/or teams. They are highlighted below. Monogram Club All-Sports Tailgate is scheduled for Sept. 7 at the Virginia Tech-ODU football game. It’s the home opener and alumni are urged to attend and network with all sport alumni! Monogram Club Sandman Tunnel Celebration is scheduled for Homecoming on Oct. 19 at the Virginia Tech-UNC game. Club members get to experience the energy in the “tunnel,” as the teamenters Lane Stadium. Last year’s gift for participants was the Monogram Club scarf. What will it be in 2019? The Monogram Club Annual Membership meeting will be in April 2020 on the Spring Game weekend.
