inside.hokiesports.com 25 continue to improve, and success is being witnessed at the tournament level. We look forward to resuming our tournament schedule in the spring and a return to the NCAA Championship.” FOOTBALL First and foremost, we hope that all of Hokie Nation is staying healthy and safe! Unprecedented times like these serve as great reminders of why the Virginia Tech motto, Ut Prosim (“That I May Serve”), is so important, and it makes us proud to think of all the Hokies out there living that motto daily. We are excited to see our Hokies back out on the field! We are very appreciative of all the sacrifices made to ensure the safety of all the student-athletes. A big Hokie “THANK YOU” to all the people who work behind the scenes to turn these less-than-ideal circumstances into a season, allowing us all to enjoy some semblance of normalcy! We would like to take this opportunity to recognize one of the greatest teams to suit up in Lane Stadium and make their collective presence known across the country. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the 1995 Virginia Tech Hokies . Some would argue that the ’95 Hokies were the team that put Tech (and HOKIE NATION) on the national map. This team capped a 10-2 season with a HUGE come-from-behind win versus the favored Texas Longhorns in the ’95 Nokia Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. As always, we are looking to reconnect with former players.
